- For those of you who know what it is...I am working on redesigning the
- base code for MUSE, a type of multi-user simulation. It is very intense
- C code. Forgetting the C/C++ debate (interesting points brought up on
- this group, I must say!), I am here looking for those who might be
- interested in helping me design it. My biggest problems are the UNIX
- specific commands - owning a PC doesn't help much.
-
- I am currently the head of the team (which consists solely of me :) and
- am looking to hire a few good coders. Anyone who has worked with MUSE
- code (successfully) before will get a position over others, but I
- encourage all interested to apply.
-
- Applications can be sent to jak@nauticom.net. Replies via usenet will
- most likely never get read, as I don't use it much. In your application,
- please include your name, best email address to reach you at, a simple
- resume of jobs/things you've worked on, yes/no if you've worked with
- MUSE/MUSH code, and anything else you can think of specific to the job.
-
- I'm only 17, I'm still in High School and I live with my parents (yes,
- I'm kind of young for a task like this...). I'm deciding on my college
- right now, so they are restricting my net access significantly...I will
- try to reply to you within 1 day, but they can pull the plug at any time :(
-
- Thanks for reading this spoof and happy coding!
